Other Comments:

Adjacent to H. C. Plummer Property.

Rented by E. L. Burdette when a fire took the dairy barn on the "home"  farm; the dairy operation was likely run jointly by Burdette and Plummer.  Then the Plummer farm was purchased by Paul L. Burdette who ran a dairy operation there into the 1960s.

Melvin Price managed the farm at one time.

Besides being a dairy farmer shipping milk, a 1964 sale ad suggests Paul D. Burdette (renter) running a replacement cow operation (or at least hosting a sale of over 80 Holstein heifers).  The farm owner, Clay Plummer, was also a dairyman and cattle dealer.
