W. I. (Billy) King was inducted into the Maryland Dairy Shrine in 1982.
William King was a member of the 1941 Maryland 4-H Dairy Judging Team.

King and Son awarded the senior and grand champion bull ribbon, junior champion female award, one of the best three females bred and owned by the exhibitor, best uddered cow, junior get of sire, bull 2 and under 3, junior heifer calf, heifer 1 and under 18 months, cow 2 and under 3, and cows 3 and under 4.
